Special Projects

Mistral Artist is one of the partner organizations cooperating with the Hermione Project 2015, an inspiring idea born 20 years ago when a small group of French and Americans decided to reconstruct an exact replica of the Hermione, the ship that brought the Marquis de Lafayette to the United States in 1780. The "new" Hermione will set sail for the United States in the summer of 2015, re-affirming the historic relationship between the U.S. and France. A kick-off gala for the Hermione Project 2015 will be held aboard The Intrepid Aircraft Carrier in New York City on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 with special guests Henry Kissinger, Christine Lagarde, and Charlie Rose.
